Q: What ID do I need to take to the event?
A: The type of ID required is decided upon by the venue, but we recommend any form of official ID preferably with a photo. You may also need proof of age or concessionary staus if you have bought a discounted ticket based on these factors. If you are the ticket purchaser we recommend you either bring along the credit card you booked with or at least make a note of the last 4 digits of that card.
Q: How can I receive my tickets?
A: If you have bought e-tickets, we will send the e-ticket(s) to the e-mail address you supply. This will normally take approximately five minutes, but if you can’t wait that long just go to your Account Admin page and find the ticket(s) you have bought and download them straight from there – no fuss – no hassle!!
Q: Can I transfer/reallocate my ticket(s) to someone else?
A: You can reallocate your ticket(s) to another person(s). To do this go to your Account Admin page and select the tickets you wish to have re-allocated and edit the name to the new ticket holder’s name.
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES CAN YOU RE-SELL YOUR TICKET(S). WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO WITHDRAW YOUR TICKET(S) IF WE SUSPECT YOU HAVE RE-SOLD THEM.
Q: What if I can’t make it to the event?
A: The face value of the ticket and the booking fees are non-refundable. You can reallocate the ticket(s) as above, but you are not permitted to re-sell the ticket(s)
Q: How much are your booking fees?
A: The standard booking fee is 10% of the ticket’s face value with a minimum charge of 50p per ticket. This is not always applicable and we reserve the right to alter or amend the fee for any particular event or venue.
Q: What if the event is cancelled?
A: The Booking Shop sells tickets on behalf of venues or promoters. We will endeavour to notify ticket holders of any cancellation or change to the performance. The Booking Shop does not offer refunds, the venue or promoter is resonsible for refunds of any kind. The booking fee and any postage charge are strictly non-refundable.
Q: I haven’t received my e-ticket via e-mail?
A: Don’t worry! This could be that the e-ticket has been flagged as spam or junk mail. To download your ticket(s) go to your Account Admin page and download it from there.
Q: Why do I need to register to buy from The Booking Shop?
A: By registering you are allocated your own account page. This allows you to view and download any ticket you have bought and it also allows you to review any orders you have made from us. We can also send you information we feel you would like to see about forthcoming events. (To opt out of the information e-mails just let us know)
Q: My tickets haven’t arrived – what do I do?
A: All hard copy tickets (non e-ticket events) are sent via Royal Mail and we aim to dispatch the tickets within 7 days of order. You will be sent a confirmation of order which acts as a temporary ticket until your hard copy ticket arrives. If you have not received your tickets within 5 working days of the event please contact us.
Q: Why can’t I order as many tickets as I would like?
A: Certain venues/events limit the quantity of tickets that can be sold in any one transaction. If you enter a value higher than this maximum limit, you will not be permitted to purchase the amount you originally requested. If you do purchase more than the allowed limit we reserve the right to cancel the excess quantity of tickets without prior notice
